Ternate Island scenery of the Peak of Mount Tidore
Located at the top of the mountain "KIE matubu" Tidore island, an extraordinary sight. from the top of this we can clearly see a row of the islands 'volcanic' Others, like the island of invective, Makian Island, Moti Island, Mare Island, and the island of Halmahera. to reach the top, we crossed the first ship from Bastiong port of Ternate to Rum Tidore (cost Rp. 7500/people, -) then we will ride public transportation from the terminal Rum (cost Rp. 5000/people, -), to the location of climbing. climbing locations are commonly known here, is via the "Gurabunga" or "ome / Mareku" the time needed to reach the peak of approximately 4 hours. The best time to ride is at 10:00 and 13:00 hours.
Diving
The pictures below, is the documentation in diving activities we do on the island of Ternate, including two-point dive here, namely :
- Tahua Point, Located on the north side of Tidore island. Ternate island directly facing. distance to location just 15 minutes by boat that we can rent at the port of Ternate Bastiong fishery. rents can be negotiated with the owner. visibility good, slope and wall, deep max 21 - 25 m.
- Floridas wall, Located on the south side of Ternate island, which deal directly with Maitara island and Tidore island. certainly an interesting sight. distance to location just 20 minutes by boat that we can rent at the port of Ternate Bastiong fishery. rents can be negotiated with the owner. visibility good, wall and drop off, deep max 15 - 35 m.
